When is Deadlock release date

Greetings to all fans of Valve products. Today I want to tell you about the most anticipated game of the season – Deadlock.

Deadlock game is a mixture of Dota 2 and Valorant. Users familiar with the MOBA genre will not discover anything new.

So, the match involves 2 teams, players need to destroy the enemy base, which is guarded by defense modules. Team bases are connected by four lines. Before starting a match, the player chooses a character that has unique skills like in Dota 2, however, gameplay-wise Deadlock is a third-person shooter.

Deadlock release date

Deadlock on Steam still doesn’t have an official release date. However, Valve launched a public playtest on August 24, which can be accessed by invitation from participating players.

In the community, I think everyone already knows that Valve releases multiplayer projects into public beta first. For example, the Dota 2 beta test launched after The International in 2011. However, the official release date for the game is July 09, 2013.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Valve’s Deadlock get an official release 2-3 years after opening up access to everyone.

How to play Deadlock now

Invitations are issued by users who have gained access to the game. If there are no friends with Deadlock, you can get invitations in Steam groups and Discord themed servers.

A player can send an unlimited number of invitations. The invitation arrives within a few hours, after which the user can download the game from Steam on PC.

As of September 2024, Deadlock’s peak online has surpassed 100,000 players.
